a non profit advocacy organization with a 30 year history of providing leadership and support to students, parents and educators of gifted young people in Colorado. By way of affiliate members across the state, CAGT has endeavored to keep all school districts and policy makers aware of the issues surrounding gifted education.
Destination ImagiNation Coming Soon
We are very excited to have five DI teams this year at Lowry. We have three Rising Star teams and two competitive teams. We hope you can come and watch them when they compete at GWHS on March 20, times and locations TBA. Destination ImagiNation is an international creative problem solving program that meets educational standards in Literature, Reading and Writing, Geography, History, Math and Science. It is an exciting way for team members to: •Explore and discover their creative potentials through teamwork, cooperation and mutual respect. •Develop sophisticated creative problem-solving skills. •Take ownership and pride in what they accomplish because they do everything themselves, from beginning to end. •Present their Challenge soulution in a competition setting. The Denver Destination ImagiNation tournament is Saturday, March 20 at George Washington High School.
